TOUR #4: PLANTATION TOUR
A visit to Charleston wouldn't be complete without experiencing a Southern plantation. Choose from two famous Lowcountry plantations along the Ashley River, with a scenic drive along Ashley River Road (a National Scenic Byway). Fee for this tour includes a 4-hour visit to the plantation of your choice. Because both plantations offer several special tours (house museum tours, for example) beyond general admission, we allow you to select and pay your plantation admission fees once your arrive. Minmum 3 people.
Our fee covers convenient, round-trip transportation from downtown Charleston to the plantation of your choice, allowing you to enjoy a 3-hour visit (total 4 hours). Middleton Place has a restaurant; Maganolia has an outdoor cafe; both have public restrooms. We recommend comfortable clothing and footwear.
